Problème :
Les produits rappelés ont été mal étiquetés avec des versions de l’étiquette du produit pour les États-Unis au lieu des étiquettes appropriées pour le Canada. Par conséquent, les produits rappelés ne portent pas l’étiquetage approprié de produits chimiques de consommation, comme l’exige le Règlement sur les produits chimiques et contenants de consommation (2001) en vertu de la Loi canadienne sur la sécurité des produits de consommation.
L’absence de renseignements appropriés sur l’étiquette pourrait entraîner une exposition non intentionnelle aux produits, et causer des maladies ou des blessures graves.
En date du 3 décembre 2024, aucun incident ni aucune blessure n’avaient été signalés à l’entreprise au Canada.

Les consommateurs doivent immédiatement cesser d’utiliser le produit et l’éliminer de manière sécuritaire conformément aux exigences municipales locales en matière de déchets dangereux.

Issue:
The recalled products have been mislabeled with US versions of the product label instead of the correct Canadian labels. As a result, the recalled products do not have the proper consumer chemical labelling as required by the Consumer Chemical and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.
The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury.
As of December 3, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
What to do:
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and safely dispose of them in accordance with local municipal hazardous waste requirements.

Solvable Professional Grade Boiled Linseed Oil is excellent for protecting concrete walks and floors, flagstone or interlocking stone from the elements and from salt and chemical damage. It also protects log cabins and wood panelling. You can use it as an oil finish for most wood types because it creates a coating that is impervious to water, heat, most stains, and scratches. Staining with this product achieves a warm golden tone to pine and maple. Porous woods and walnut will darken considerably when treated.
